School Visits to the Library

Students can take part in a variety of sessions at the Library.

Story and Activity sessions involve a special trip to the Story Tower, followed by themed activities, and can even include a tour of the Library. These can take the form of one-off themed visits (e.g. monsters and aliens, fairy stories), but also include themed story weeks during the summer term and festive stories in the run-up to the Christmas break.

Study Skills Workshops aim to cover topics such as plagiarism and effective research. Although very useful for older students embarking on their exams at secondary school, these sessions can also be tailored for a younger audience. An emphasis is placed on the fact that these skills can be carried from primary through to secondary school, and beyond.

To book any of these sessions contact us at [email protected] or give us a call on 720392.
