You can reserve any item that is on loan. There is no charge.
You can reserve items in several ways:
Visit the Library and fill in a reservation form.
Call the main Library number (+44 1481 720392) with the details of the item you wish to reserve. You can also send these by email to email@example.com or by post.
Reserve online via the online catalogue. Search the catalogue for the item you want and click the 'reserve this item' button. You will need your library card number. Please note that you can only reserve items that are already in our collection - to request an item not in our collection, read on below.
You will be notified by email or by post when the item is ready for you to collect.
Reservations placed online are not available the same day. If you want to reserve an item that is not on loan please contact us.
You can request any item that is not already in our collection. If it's considered suitable to add to our stock, our librarians will get it for you.

You will be notified by email or by post either when the item is ready for collection or if we have considered it unsuitable to be added to our stock.
Most libraries in the UK co-operate with each other to lend and borrow books. Articles from newspapers and periodicals may also be obtained.
You can request:
Non-fiction, both old and new
Theses and dissertations
Periodical and newspaper articles
Orchestral and vocal music sets (advance bookings recommended)
It is not possible, however, to borrow non-book materials such as CDs and DVDs.
