The Library has two meeting rooms available for hire.

The Dorey Room and Linwood Pitts Room are flexible spaces suitable for meetings, training sessions, and events.

Whether you're organising a small group discussion or a community activity, we can offer a space to suit your needs.

Dorey Room

A flexible community meeting room on the second floor, perfect for clubs, societies, and small group activities.

Capacity: Up to 12 people

Suitable for: Community groups, clubs and small-scale events.

Linwood Pitts Room

A quiet, well-equipped meeting room on the third floor, ideal for business meetings, training sessions, workshops, and small group work.

Capacity: Up to 12 people

Suitable for: Meetings, training, workshops, professional use.

How to Book

1. Submit an enquiry form

Tell us about your event and preferred date using the form below.

2. Wait to hear from us

Library staff will review your request and confirm if the room is available.

3. Confirm your booking

We'll send you a Room Hire Agreement. Your booking is confirmed once this is completed.

What You Need to Know

+ All bookings are subject to availability.

+ Bookings must comply with the Library's Room Hire Policy. Please read this carefully.

+ The Library reserves the right to refuse any booking that it considers unsuitable.

+ Rooms must be vacated on time and left clean and tidy.

Charges

Room hire charges depend on the choice of room and the nature of your organisation.

+ Community groups, charities, and States departments may qualify for reduced rates or free use.

+ Commercial organisations are charged standard rates.

+ The Dorey Room is free for non-commercial users.
