Use computers and WiFi at the Library - absolutely FREE
There are six public computers available for anyone to use. These received an upgrade in 2024 thanks to an award from Dougie's Grant. They are fully equipped with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs.
Note: User access to the public computers is subject to acceptable use, as defined in the ‘Policy on the Use of the Internet and Computer devices in the Library’. Use by children under 16 is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when using the Internet service.
Filtering and Monitoring
Internet access on the public computers and WiFi is filtered. Activity is also monitored and further action will be taken if a breach of the acceptable use policy is suspected.
Printing and Scanning
Need to print something? Use one of our public computers, or print direct from your device using Princh. Our staff will be happy to help you get started.
Printing and photocopying costs 30p per side of A4 for black and white, and 40p per side of A4 for colour. A3 charges and laminating costs can be found on our full price list here. You can pay in cash, or contactless via Princh (with a minimum spend of £1.00 for card transactions).
A FREE Scan to USB facility is also available - either bring your own USB stick, or buy one of ours for £5.00.
