Write In

Write In

On Wednesday 17 November join other writers after hours at the Library for an evening of writing and motivation.

November is National Novel Writing Month, so it's the perfect time to make a start on that book you've always wanted to write. Whether you're working on a novel, a screenplay, a children's book, a memoir, or anything else, this event offers the space and incentive you need to get cracking. You can also find a whole page of handy resouces we've gathered for writers here

You bring your laptop, we provide WiFi, snacks and drinks.

You might be halfway through a rewrite, or starting from scratch and in need of inspiration - all writers of all ages are welcome.

The event starts at 19.00 and runs until 23.00. Stay as long as you like - there's no obligation to stay the whole night but you can if you want. We'll play some lyric free music during the last hour to add a different dimension to the writing atmosphere!

All events and activities are continuing as normal. If you’re attending one of our events, it's recommended that you take a lateral flow test beforehand wherever possible. Face coverings are strongly recommended at all Library events and activities where it's practical and reasonable to wear one. See our full COVID guidelines here.
