Monday 16 February

Community Library Crafts

TWO SESSIONS

09:15-10:15 and 10:15-11:15 at La Nouvelle Maraitiane Community Library

Come along to La Nouvelle Maraitaine for a crafting session and make a doily sheep! Everyone welcome, most suitable for children aged 3-10 and their families. Booking essential.

Tuesday 17 February

Little Puffin Signing

10:30-11:00 in the Children's Library. Join Steph from Little Puffin Signing for a signing session all about Pancake Day!

 There will be books, song, and toys to support little ones with learning the signs. Suitable for children aged 2+ and booking is essential. Book your child's place here.

Sensory Stories

11:00-12:00 in the Dorey Room on the second floor of the Library. An hour of fun and interactive stories designed for primary age children with additional physical, learning or sensory needs and their families. Wheelchair accessible. No booking required.

 

Wednesday 18 February

Turbo Tots

10:00-10:45 in the Hayward Room on the second floor of the Library. Stories, songs and rhymes for children aged 1-3. Come along for a morning of fun! No booking required.

 

Thursday 19 February

Baby Social

10:30-11:30 in the Dorey Room on the second floor of the Library. Songs and rhymes for under 1s, followed by sensory play and tea & chat for the grown ups. Don't forget to book your baby's place here.

 

Friday 20 February

Costume Creations

10:30-11:30 in the Hayward Room on the second floor of the Library. Come and join us for a morning of creative costume making!

Choose an item from our donated clothes rail, make some accessories, and get inspired for your 2026 World Book Day costume. Volunteers from the Repair Cafe will be on hand with their sewing machines to help alter and embellish your creations.

Clothes provided with help from our friends at Health Connections.
