We've got new library cards!
In June we launched our NEW DESIGNS. Three of the new cards feature a crab drawn by acclaimed children's illustrator Garry Parsons.
We're delighted with Garry's design - and now the crab has a name!
We ran a competition to name the crab on our new cards. Thank you to all the children who took part! Congratulations to Rosie for her winning name - meet CORAL the library card crab! Rosie won a £10 book token and a beach activity set.
The new cards are available for new members, as well as existing members who want to swap. Ask at Reception and a member of staff will be happy to help! As well as this friendly crustacean, we have other new designs inspired by last year's Boundless Curiosity exhibition celebrating our 140th anniversary, including images from John James Audubon's Birds of America.
