Join at the Library

If you are resident in the Bailiwick of Guernsey just come along to the main Library in Market Street, or one of our Community Libraries, and fill out an application form (staff will be happy to help you with this). If you are under 16 you will need a parent or guardian to sign your application.

You will be given a membership card, which you must bring with you whenever you visit the Library if you wish to borrow books and other items.

If you are staying in Guernsey for less than a year, you will need a 'visitor card' for which you wil be asked to pay a deposit of £15. This will be paid back to you at the end of your stay on return of the Library items you have borrowed.
