Monday 21 July: Board Games Day 

Drop in and play! Board games also available to borrow. In the Children's Library, 10:00-16:00. All ages welcome.

 

Tuesday 22 July: Story Garden Rhyme Time

Join us to play outside in the garden at St Saviour's Community Centre. Search for the book characters hiding in the garden, and join in with nature-themed songs and stories. 14:30-15:30 at St Savour's Community Centre, Le Neuf Chemin Road. Most suitable for children aged 1-7 and their families, but everyone is welcome. No need to book, just come along!

 

Friday 25 July: Turbo Tots

Join a special extended version of our popular Tots session, with stories, songs and rhymes! 10:00-10:45 in the Hayward Room on the second floor of the Library. Most suitable for children aged 1-3 and their families, but everyone is welcome. Booking required - book here.

 

Monday 28 July: Sensory Stories

Come along for an hour of fun and interactive stories. Designed for primary-age children with additional physical, learning or sensory needs and their families. 10:30-11:30 in the Dorey Room on the second floor of the Library. This session is wheelchair accessible. Booking required - book here.

 

Thursday 31 July: Baby Social 

Songs and rhymes for under 1s, followed by sensory play, tea and chat for the grown-ups. 10:30-11:30 in the Dorey Room on the second floor of the Library. Booking required - book here.

 

Monday 4 August: Community Library Crafts

Come along to La Nouvelle Maraitaine Community Library for a special crafting session - make a pipe cleaner dragonfly! There are two times to choose from: 9:00-10:00 or 10:00-11:00. Most suitable for children aged 3-10 and their families, but everyone is welcome. Booking required - book here.

Join Steph from Little Puffin Signing to learn some Signalong signs for the Summer Signing Challenge (4 sessions to join this summer). You'll learn signs for the alphabet, days of the week, months of the year, and colours. You will receive a certificate to fill up with your puffin sticker for each session. Suitable for children age 2+ and can be tailored for any primary school age children who want to learn to sign. In the Children's Library, 10:30-11:00. The session is free and booking is essential due to limited places. Book here.

 

Friday 8 August: Story Garden activities with Nature Guernsey

Come along to Candie Gardens for a morning of outdoor activities! To celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme, join us for Story Garden activities including planting, seed bomb making, bird feeder making, nature bingo, and nature stories. 10:00-11:30 at Candie Gardens, outside Guernsey Museum.

This session is delivered in partnership with Guernsey Museums and with the Nature Guernsey team, part of La Société Guernesiaise. Booking required - book here.

Come & find our gazebo at the West Show! Join the Children’s Team for stories and crafts between 13:00-17:00.
