Board Games Day

Drop in and play! Board games also available to borrow and play at home. Suitable for all ages and all the family. In the Children's Library, no need to book.
Baby Social
Wednesday 28 May 10:00-11:00
Songs and rhymes for under 1s, followed by sensory play and tea & chat for the grown ups. In the Dorey Room on the second floor of the Library. Booking essential. Book here.
Community Library Crafts
Thursday 29 May 9:00-10:00 & 10:00-11:00 (two session times to choose from)
Come along to La Nouvelle Maraitaine Community Library for a crafting session and make a paper plate turtle. Most suitable for children aged 3-10 and their families but everyone is welcome. Booking essential. Book here.
Little Puffin Signing
Thursday 29 May 10:30-11:00
Join Steph from Little Puffin Signing to learn some Signalong signs for having a picnic in the sunshine. You'll learn signs for different types of food and some cheeky insects who may want to join in, like a hungry 'caterpillar' and 'ants'. Signs are taught using books and songs, and the session ends with 'more' bubbles! Suitable for children age 2+ and can be tailored for any primary school age children who want to learn to sign. In the Children's Library. The session is free and booking is essential due to limited places. Book here.
Pirate Activity Morning

Ahoy there! Join in a morning of pirate themed stories, activities and crafts. Most suitable for children aged 3-8 and their families but everyone is welcome. In the Hayward Room on the second floor of the Library. No need to book, just come and join in the fun.
