Fab Lab Workshop: Design & print a colour-changing mug

This half term, get creative in the Fab Lab. Create your own Colour Changing Mug that reveals a chilling surprise when it gets hot. Design, personalise, and take home a magical keepsake - perfect for spooky season! During this session you'll learn how to use Canva software to create a design, the sublimation printer and the mug press to print your personalised design onto the outside of the mug.

The session is £9 and includes all teaching and materials. The Fab Lab is on the first floor accessible via the lift or stairs. Book your place here.

This workshop is for people aged 9 years and above. Children aged 9–11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the session. By booking, adults agree to take responsibility for the safety of any children in their care while attending and using the machines.

Refunds - our policy is no refunds. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can give those on the waiting list the chance to come along.

Late Arrival - whilst it is possible to arrive more than 15 minutes late, by this time, we are getting into the content of the workshop and it's not possible to go back over what we have already covered.

Legal, Ethical, and IP Notice - All projects must be safe, legal, and appropriate. Participants may not create offensive, unsafe, or illegal designs, and must respect copyright and intellectual property rights when producing their mug designs. Library staff have the final discretion on what designs may be printed or pressed.
