Care Home Services

Living in a care home? We'll bring the Library to you.

Tea and Tales

Our free Tea & Tales service sees staff pay a visit to read stories aloud to a group of residents.

You can engage and be part of book-related discussions if you wish to. Or just sit back and enjoy the story. It's also a chance to meet others and make friends, chat and have fun. Our themed sessions include accompanying photographs and pictures to bring stories to life on topics like the old Guernsey Zoo, the tomato industry, fishing, local shops, Guernsey characters, and more.

Tea & Tales currently reaches more than 100 older adults per month. To find out more and arrange a visit, contact Jackie Burgess on 720392 or email [email protected]
