Readers' Representatives are an important link between the Library's users and its management. Once elected Readers' Representatives hold their posts for 2 years and are expected to actively seek Library users' opinions and attend Guille-Allès Library Council Meetings.
This is an opportunity for members of the public to play a part in the future development of the Library.

If more than three individuals are nominated an election will be held between the 15 and 30 June 2012.
Details of the election procedures, information on the role of a Readers' Representative and nominations forms are available in the Entrance Hall of the Guille-Allès Library.
Nominations in writing addressed to the Chief Librarian must be received by 31 May 2012.

Dewi Lewis on publishing

As part of the Guernsey Photography Festival (24 May - 22 June) the Guille-Allès Library will be hosting a free lunch time talk by renowned publisher Dewi Lewis on Friday 25 May, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
