BABY BOUNCE - rhymes, music and song for babies

Every Thursday 10.00 - 10.30 and 11.00 - 11.30

Parents and carers welcome too. It's free but you need to reserve a place at each session either by dropping in to the Children's Library or by calling us on 743635. You can reserve places from the Saturday before each session.


T.O.T.S.
- totally out-of-this-world tales and songs for toddlers between 1 -3 years old

STORY STOP
- 30 minutes of stories for children between 3 -5 years old

Every Tuesday 11:00 - 11:30

Parents and carers are welcome to stay during story sessions. Parents or carers collecting children from a library activity must instruct children to stay in the library until collected.


SUMMER STORIES AND ACTIVITIES for children aged 5 - 9, every Wednesday from 28 July until 1 Spetember at 10.45 for one hour. Join us for great stories and fun crafts and colouring. No booking necessary, just come along to the Children's Library. 

If leaving a child aged under 8 at the Library for the activities, a parent or carer must fill in a contact form and instruct children to remain in the Library until collected.


BOOKBRAINS - a reading club for young people aged 10 - 14.

During the summer holidays we will meet every week from 28 July to chat about books, take part in quizzes and play games such as UNO and Yahtzee. The next meeting will be on Wednesday 28 July at 3pm in the Children's Library at the Guille-Allès Library. It will last about an hour and this time we shall be discussing the Kate Greenaway shortlist for outstanding illustrations. We shall also be looking at the books we will be reading over the summer holidays. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to book a place.
