How to join the library

Joining the library is FREE and open to anyone who is a resident of Guernsey. We need to see some form of identification and proof of your address in Guernsey. Acceptable forms of ID include: Guernsey driving licence, gas, electricity, telephone or water bills, bank statements, etc. If you are not a permanent resident in Guernsey visitor tickets are available but a £15 returnable deposit is required.

If you are under 16 your parent or guardian must sign your application form.

You will need to bring your borrower card with you each time you visit the library and you are responsible for all items borrowed on it. Please look after it and report its loss immediately. There is a charge for replacement cards.
