- Books – a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, including large print
- Spoken word cassette tapes and CDs – fiction and non-fiction
- Foreign language books and cassettes and CDs
- Music – a wide range of compact discs and printed music
- Jigsaws
- Videos – practical art, opera, filmed literature, etc
- DVDs - classic films
- Children’s fiction books, information books, cassettes
In addition to the lending stock, we have a collection of information books which may only be consulted in the library. Such items include:
- Business information ie company directories, manufacturers and products directories
- Newspapers and magazines – these include UK daily newspapers, Guernsey and Jersey Newspapers and a selection of professional and recreational magazines
- Encyclopaedias
- Microfilm – Guernsey Evening press 1897 to the present day and the Times 1985-1998 (1999 onwards is now held on CD-ROM)
- University prospectuses
- Guernsey laws and regulations – Projets de Loi, Ordinances, Billets d’Etat
- Telephone directories – local, Jersey and UK
- Professional registers
