Reservations

You can request any item that is already on loan or not already in stock.  Items may be purchased if they are considered suitable to add stock.  Please note there is a charge for this service at the Guille - Allès Library and the Priaulx Library.   A valid library card is required to place reservations.

Reservations placed online are NOT available the same day.  If you want to reserve an item that is not on loan please contact a member of staff.

You can request items in several ways:

  • Call in to the library and fill out a request form.
  • Telephone the main library number (720392) with the details of the item you wish to request.  Details may also be sent by fax (712425) or by post.
  • Items may also be reserved via the online catalogue. Click here to enter the online catalogue and search for the item you wish to reserve.   For more detailed information on how to reserve on-line click here.  Please note that you may only reserve items already in stock by this method.
